And they work and garden all across the United States and Canada, seeing these plants in many conditions and locations.  Then the Perennial Plant Association announces the next Perennial Plant of the Year®.  The Association does not have a commercial stake in these plants; we recognize these plants solely for their exceptional performance.  Our members are the plant experts and these plants are trusted by the experts.
